Description
Mindfulness school-based curriculum for enhancing academic functioning with web-based resources for students and teachers
Objectives

To teach students a variety of mindfulness skills in order to enhance their lives inside and outside of the classroom.

Academic outcomes:

  • Increased ability to pay attention and concentrate;
  • Reduced disruptive classroom behavior;
  • Improved academic achievement and classroom climate.

Health outcomes:

  • Use of more effective strategies for coping with stress;
  • Better control over negative emotions;
  • Reduction in feelings of stress and anxiety.
